Families eat and play together to celebrate another school year successfully completed.
Our last official event for the school year is our Corpus Christi June Picnic. Historically it always occurred on Corpus Christi Sunday, but in recent years we have moved it to allow members to participate in Corpus Christi Processions that their churches provide. The picnic, which still occurs in June, celebrates the end of the school year. The date/time and location are arranged by the organizer based on maximizing the availability of our families. It is always on the weekend so that it can be a whole family event. CCCHE provides the main course of hamburgers and hot dogs and the rest of the food is potluck. Families bring outdoor equipment/toys and we all have a fun time visiting and playing. It is a great time to celebrate the accomplishment of another school year being completed.
